Paducah woman hospitalized, cited after Sunday crash

A Paducah woman was hospitalized and cited after a single-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies were called to KY 286 and Bohanon Road just after 3 p.m. Sunday. They said an SUV, driven by 48-year-old Heather Bartlett of Paducah, ran off KY 286 and hit an embankment. The contact with the embankment sent the SUV into the air, end-over-end across Bohanon Road, before coming to a stop.

Bartlett, who was cited for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, was taken to the hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
