A Paducah woman is facing drug charges following her arrest Tuesday afternoon.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said they responded Tuesday afternoon to Blandville Road for a welfare check. Deputies were told a female was inside a company vehicle and refused to get out after being terminated.

Deputies said they found 34-year-old Stormie Logsdon sitting in the driver seat of the company vehicle.  Logsdon was advised by deputies, and two supervisors on scene from the company, that she was terminated. Logsdon reportedly refused to exit the vehicle or give the company phone back.

Logsdon was ultimately removed from the vehicle by deputies and taken into custody. Deputies said a plastic baggie was located in her coat pocket.  Deputies field tested the baggie and said it showed traces of methamphetamine.

Logsdon was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
