A Paducah woman was charged with drug trafficking following a traffic stop on Monday night.
Deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Leanna Alexander on Irvin Cobb Drive. Deputies knew Alexander was driving a suspended driver’s license and was on probation for drug offenses.
During the stop Alexander allegedly admitted she had drugs and paraphernalia concealed on her person. Deputies reportedly recovered six grams of methamphetamine, a glass smoking pipe, marijuana, doses of Xanax, and $1043 in cash believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.
Alexander was charged with operating on a suspended license, trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana and Xanax.
