The Paducah Police Department Bomb Squad participated in explosives training last week at Fort Knox.
Authorities said the bomb squad participated in the Raven's Challenge Interoperability Exercise.
The exercise incorporates different scenarios focused on cooperation between public safety bomb squads and military explosive ordnance disposal units.
The Paducah Bomb Squad teamed up with two U.S. Army EOD members from the 756th Ordnance Company from Fort Stewart, Georgia.
The training was organized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
