We now have more information about a Mississippi man who was arrested in Paducah after a reported robbery and vehicle theft Saturday in Calvert City.

Calvert City Police said they were called to a business on Hollinger Road by a driver who claimed to have been assaulted and had their vehicle stolen. The person was a DoorDash delivery driver making their second trip to deliver food to an individual, later identified as 20-year-old Dagan Riley Clark of Philadelphia, Mississippi. Clark allegedly struck the driver in the head and stole his car.

An alert was issued by Calvert City Police, and that’s when Paducah Police, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, and Paducah-McCracken 911 picked up the stolen vehicle on the FLOCK camera system and tracked it as it traveled through Paducah. McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies stopped Clark and took him into custody.

Clark was charged in McCracken County with receiving stolen property and in Marshall County with carjacking.

Clark was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
