A Paducah native has become a Superior Court Judge in Douglasville, GA.

Lauren Wallace was sworn into office last Friday.  The 43-year-old Wallace has distinguished herself through her service as an Assistant Solicitor General, Assistant District Attorney, and Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney in both DeKalb and Douglas Counties. 

Wallace is a graduate of Heath High School, Murray State University and earned her law degree at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.

Wallace is the daughter of Steve and Nancy Powless and David and Gina Johnston, both of Paducah.
