A Paducah man is wanted by police in an assault investigation.

Paducah Police were called to the parking lot of a local hospital, where they learned the female victim had been assaulted at a residence in the 900 block of North 10th Street, allegedly by 35-year-old Christopher J. Williams, with whom she was in a relationship.

The victim told detectives that beginning Friday evening, Williams allegedly punched the victim numerous times, stabbed her several times, and strangled her. She was able to flee the residence early Saturday morning and drive herself to the hospital.

Detectives and the Paducah Police SWAT team served a search warrant at the residence to locate Williams, but discovered he had fled the residence.

Anyone with information about Williams’ whereabouts is asked to call the Paducah Police Department.
