Paducah man injured in rollover crash

A Paducah man was hospitalized following a trafffic accident Thursday.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the accident involving 19 year old Maurice Baucom occured southbound on McKendree Church Road at the intersection with Childress Road.

Deputies said Baucom was going at a high rate of speed at the hill crest in the roadway that caused his vehicle to leave the road momentarily.

When it came back, Baucom lost control causing it to enter a ditch on the northbound side of the road.  

The vehicle rolled over several times before coming to rest alongside a bean field.

Baucom was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
