Paducah man injured in bucket truck crash

An accident involving a utility truck on Thursday sent a Paducah man to the hospital.

McCracken County deputies responded to Oaks Road where they learned that an unknown vehicle had crossed the center line and traveled into the path of a Jackson Purchase Energy bucket truck. 

The driver of the truck, 25-year-old Dylan Reed, attempted to avoid the collision, but lost control and overturned before striking a tree.

Reed was taken to a hospital for treatment. The roadway was shut down for about two hours.
