Applicants sought to serve on various Paducah boards and commissions

The City of Paducah is looking for residents who are interested in serving as members of the city's many advisory boards and commissions.

The city has posted an application on its Facebook page to gather applicants who would provide guidance and recommendations to city leaders as members of nearly three dozen different boards.

Most require that the applicant is a resident of Paducah, though some can also include residents of McCracken County. Board members are typically selected by the mayor.

Interested people can fill out an application to include their work experience, training or education that might be helpful on a particular board. Applications are kept on file for a three-year period.
