A Paducah man has been indicted after an investigation into a fatal crash back in May.

A McCracken County Grand Jury handed down the indictment against Benny Green last week. The charges stem from the further investigation into a crash along Kentucky Dam Road on May 21st. Green has been charged with 2nd-degree manslaughter and operating on a suspended license.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened at the intersection of Kentucky Dam Road and Eagle Nest Drive when a motorcycle operated by 63-year-old Gordon Smith of Kuttawa collided with a vehicle driven by Green. Smith was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Green was treated for injuries, as well.

Green was arrested this week and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
