A Paducah man was arrested for allegedly firing a shotgun at his brother.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies were called to Mayfield-Metropolis Road Thursday morning after reports of an altercation where shots had been fired, and there were people screaming as vehicle left the scene.

Deputies believe that 18-year-old Andrew N. Moreland got into an argument with his younger brother. The incident escalated when Moreland allegedly went to his vehicle and got a 12 gauge shotgun, which he reportedly fired into the air, and in the direction of the brother.

There were no injuries.

Moreland left the scene, but returned while deputies were at the residence and surrendered the shotgun. He was charged with wanton endangerment, and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
