A Paducah man was arrested on multiple drug charges Friday following an investigation.
Complaints came into the McCracken County Sheriff's Office accusing 43-year-old James Stuart Thompson of selling drugs out of his North 6th Street apartment. An investigation led detectives to get a search warrant for the apartment which they searched on Friday.
Detectives reportedly uncovered methamphetamine, Ecstasy pills, and steroids in the apartment. A short time later, Thompson was found at a nearby hotel, allegedly with another 5.5 grams of meth on his person.
Thompson was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of Ecstasy and anabolic steroids. He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
