The search of a vehicle in McCracken County on Saturday led to a Paducah man's arrest on drug charges.
Deputies stopped the vehicle on Old Mayfield Road near the intersection with Rosewood Drive. They said a search uncovered meth, marijuana, bags, and cash believed to be the proceeds of drug sales.
The driver, 50-year-old Jeffrey Houser, was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, possession of marijuana, reckless driving, driving on a suspended or revoked license, and more.
Deputies said Houser has an extensive criminal history involving several prior meth convictions. At the time of his arrest, he was out on bond from a previous meth-related charge in March.
He was taken to the McCracken County jail.
