A Paducah man is in jail, accused of stabbing another man on Friday night.
Paducah Police responded to Eulah Street, where the victim had what appeared to be a stab wound to the chest, and told officers he had walked there from Thurman Street after the altercation. The victim was also able to give enough information to confirm a suspect.
Detectives spoke to 49-year-old Brian Ross at an apartment on Wall Street. He allegedly admitted to the altercation, stabbing the victim and disposing of the knife.
Ross was arrested and charged with assault and tampering with physical evidence. He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
According to police, the victim is in stable condition after being treated for significant injuries.
