Paducah man charged with trespassing

A Paducah man was arrested Thursday on charges of trespassing and evading police after being found in a vacant home.

Paducah Police said they received a tip late Thursday evening that a man entered a home without permission. When officers made contact with the man, later identified as 19-year-old Dwight Ragland of Paducah, he fled on foot, breaking a window in the process.

Ragland was caught and arrested after a brief chase and charged with criminal trespassing and fleeing or evading police.

He was later released on his own recognizance.
