A Paducah man was arrested on Tuesday on charges of stealing multiple vehicles within a 20-minute period.

Police said they received a call of a reported vehicle theft of a Ram pickup from a restaurant on Irvin Cobb Drive. The suspect was later identified as 23-year-old Conrad Hansen of Paducah.

Police said Hansen ditched the Ram 11 blocks away and stole a Mustang from a car dealership.

He allegedly attempted to steal another vehicle from a business on Clarks River Road but was unsuccessful.

Police and McCracken County deputies found  the stolen Mustang at a dead end on Georgia Street. K9 Don and his handler tracked Hansen to a nearby farm field.

When Hansen spotted the officers, he allegedly fled and led them on a chase along the bank of the Clarks River before he was caught and arrested.

Hansen was charged with felony theft, and fleeing and evading police.
