Paducah man jailed on drug charges

A Paducah man was arrested on drug charges Monday afternoon.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office was conducting surveilance on North 8th Street when 46-year-old Michael Walker was spotted getting into a car at a local business.

The vehicle was pulled over on HC Mathis Drive and Walker, who was wanted on several outstanding warrants, was arrested.

During the roadside investigation, deputies found a quantity of meth in Walker's pocket.  A search of the vehicle also turned up an additional 18 grams of crystal meth.

Walker was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
