Paducah man stopped for careless driving, busted for drugs

A Paducah man was arrested on drug charges after being stopped for careless driving.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies said they stopped a pickup truck on Lane Road Thursday morning for careless driving.

Deputies said the driver, John A. Hoover of Paducah, had an amount of oxycodone in his possession. 

Hoover was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, and prescription not in a proper container. He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
