Paducah Police seek man for non-compliance with sex offender registry

Paducah Police are asking for help from the public in locating a man charged with non-compliance with the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry.

Police said the registry contacted them on Wednesday informing them that letters sent to 66-year-old Ivan Bard to confirm his address in Paducah had gone unanswered. Detectives checked the last address listed for Bard but were told he had not lived there since last October.

Bard was convicted of rape, sodomy, and sexual abuse of a 9-year-old in Jefferson County in 1992.

Anyone with information as to Bard's whereabouts is asked to contact Paducah Police or leave an anonymous tip with West Kentucky Crime Stoppers.
