Paducah Police located a wanted man sitting in the back seat of a car in front of his house on Thursday. Police spotted 27-year-old Mark Stigger in the car along Palm Street.
Stigger was wanted on a charge of strangulation and a parole violation. When police asked him to get out of the car, allegedly a bag of marijuana fell out of his lap. Officers also reportedly found a handgun in the floorboard where he had been sitting. Stigger is a convicted felon and is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Stigger was served the warrants and arrested on charges of parole violation, strangulation, assault, possession of marijuana, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
