An Eddyville man was arrested on drug charges and resisting arrest following a traffic stop early Tuesday in Paducah.
Paducah Police stopped a pickup truck on South 4th Street and said the driver, Michael Ray Howard of Eddyville, could not produce the vehicle's registration.
A second officer and a K9 arrived and the dog allegedly alerted officers to possible drugs in the vehicle. Officers said a search uncovered methamphetamine, five glass pipes, heroin, marijuana, and cash.
Howard was arrested and handcuffed after officers said he initially resisted.
Howard was charged with trafficking and possession of controlled substances, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and traffic offenses. He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
