Paducah Bank is warning the public of a new text scam making the rounds.
Paducah Bank said customers and others who don't bank with them have received texts mentioning an approved payment, and directing people to click a link if the payment is incorrect.
They said the word bank is missing the letter A in the texts, and the web address provided in the texts is not paducahbank.com.
Paducah Bank officials said they will not text you and ask you to click on links to verify debit card purchases, and will never ask you to click on a link if the charge is not yours.
They advise against clicking on the link in the text.
To access your account, they say you should call them directly at 270-575-5700 or by going directly to paducahbank.com.
