Four western Kentucky riverports will share in the latest $500,000 state grant, including Paducah and Eddyville.
It was announced Wednesday that the Eddyville Riverport Authority will get $184,000 to purchase a CAT excavator for loading and unloading material as they expand operations.
The Paducah Riverport Authority gets $30,500 for the replacement of two deteriorated entranceways to storage yards.
The Owensboro riverport was awarded three separate grants totaling $162,000 and the Henderson riverport will get $122,000 .
The legislatively appropriated funds must be locally matched.
