Overturned semi blocked KY 286 east of Wickliffe on Monday

A crash involving a semi blocked a portion of KY 286 in Ballard County on Monday.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, all lanes of KY 286 at North Ballard Church Road were closed just east of Wickliffe.

Officials had expected KY 286 to be closed until around 1:30 p.m., but they were able to open it quicker. Traffic resumed at about 11:30 a.m.

No word on the cause of the crash.
