KY 58 in Clinton back open after semi hit-and-run snaps power pole

KY 58 in Clinton is back open after the roadway was closed for utility repairs on Monday night..

The crash was a hit-and-run that happened at about 11 p.m. Witnesses said a semi hit a utility pole. The pole was snapped and that brought wires down. The truck did not stop.

The roadway was shut down for about 12 hours to facilitate the cleanup and repairs.

Crews said more repair work may be necessary in the next few days.
