North 25th Street rehabilitation project begins Monday

A rehabilitation project on North 25th Street in Paducah kicks off Monday.

Beginning next week, a contractor for the City will begin rehabilitating about three blocks of North 25th Street between Park Avenue and Mildred Street.

The beginning phase of the project is expected to last around 90 days, depending on the weather.

The project includes adding sidewalks, curbs and gutters, accessibility ramps, and entrance aprons to properties.

City officials say the area will be milled and paved later this year.
