Motorcycle crash in Lyon County Saturday injures three

A motorcycle crash in Lyon County on Saturday injured three people and sent one to the hospital.

The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. along KY 93 near Palisades Drive. Lyon County Sheriff's deputies said that a motorcycle driven by 46-year-old Bryan M. Wickersheim of Greenville ran off the road and hit a ditch. Investigators believe that Wickersheim was following a vehicle too closely and lost control when the vehicle hit its brakes. 

Another motorcycle, driven by 42-year-old Bradley D. Lynn of Wickliffe, was following closely behind Wickersheim. Lynn reportedly laid his motorcycle on the ground. 

Wickersheim was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. Lynn and a passenger suffered injuries but refused an ambulance ride to the hospital.
