Murray woman charged with forgery and identity theft

A Murray woman is facing forgery and identity theft charges after her arrest on Wednesday.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said they arrested Normanda Brian on a Calloway County warrant. The warrant was issued following an investigation in which authorities said Brian fabricated 15 documents. The documents reportedly contained forged signatures that were improperly notarized, in the attempt to transfer ownership and title status of two vehicles. 

Brian was charged with 15 counts of forgery and two counts of theft of identity.
