Murray man arrested on outstanding Calloway warrant, drug offenses

A Murray man was arrested Wednesday night on an outstanding Calloway County warrant for non-payment of court costs, and was also charged with drug offenses.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, deputies contacted 41-year-old Jonathan Cody Mason at approximately 11:30 pm, at a home on Higgason Lane in reference to the warrant.

While being taken into custody, deputies discovered that Mason allegedly was in possession of illicit drugs.

He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
