Hickory woman cited after crash in Graves County

A Hickory woman was cited after a crash between two vehicles in Graves County.

The crash happened just before 3 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of US 45 and KY 849. Graves County Sheriff’s deputies said that an SUV driven by 39-year-old Maria O. Garcia Rodriguez of Hickory drove off KY 849 across US 45 into the path of a southbound car driven by 66-year-old Tony R. McReynolds of Sedalia. The collision sent the SUV off the road and through a pair of signs.

Deputies said that a passenger in the car, 52-year-old Susan D. Gossum of Sedalia, was injured and taken by ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment. McReynolds also went to the hospital in a personal vehicle to be checked out.

Garcia Rodriguez was cited for not having an operator’s license.
