Murray man arrested on alcohol, drug charges Sunday

A Murray man was arrested Sunday morning on alcohol and drug charges.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Department said around 7:30 am Sunday, deputies responded to a residence on Highway 121 North after a resident reported a man behaving strangely in her backyard.

Deputies located 27-year-old Antonio Campos who appeared to be intoxicated, and found him in possession of illicit drugs. The quantity and packaging of the drugs, along with other items found on his person, were consistent with drug trafficking.

Campos was charged with alcohol intoxication, trafficking in a controlled substance(cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
