A routine traffic stop ended with a meth charge for a Murray man on Sunday.
Calloway County Deputies made the stop at 2:30 am on N. 12th Street in Murray. Deputies said the vehicle had no license plate and the driver stated he had not registered it after purchasing the vehicle.
During the course of the investigation deputies allegedly found the driver, 33-year-old Justin R Hammock, in possession of methamphetamine.
He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no registration, and failure to maintain required insurance.
