A Murray man faces felony charges after police said he posted threats on social media targeting law enforcement officers and local business employees.

The Murray Police Department said they began an investigation Saturday after they were made aware of the posts. Investigators determined an individual had threatened to kill law enforcement officers and carry out attacks against local businesses and their staff.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 56-year-old Anthony Cain, on the charge of terroristic threatening.

Cain was located in Montgomery County, Virginia. With the assistance of the Montgomery County Sheriffs department, Cain was taken into custody without incident.

He is currently being held pending extradition to Calloway County.
