WPKY reported Princeton City Council voted in another special call meeting Tuesday night on first reading of an ordinance to raise council members salaries beginning next year to $5,400 annually or $450 per month.
Mayor Brock Thomas said the council deserves to make more than they do but cannot pay them what they are truly worth.
