Murray accident between vehicle and bicycle sends one to hospital

One person was sent to the hospital following a collision between a vehicle and bicycle Monday morning in Murray.

Murray Police said they responded to the accident Coldwater Road near the five points intersection around 10:26 am. Officers said they learned a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Bailee Blalock of Water Valley was traveling northwest on Coldwater Road when a bicycle ridden by 18-year-old Brianna Dickets of Tompkinsville attempted to cross the street.

Dickets reportedly did not see the vehicle driving on the roadway and was struck by the vehicle. According to police an individual was transported to the Murray Calloway County Hospital by EMS for treatment of possible injuries.
