Murray State's students returned to campus last week, and in larger numbers for the fifth year in a row.
MSU enrollment is up two percent since last fall. It's the fifth consecutive year of gains in enrollment, and also includes larger numbers of graduate students, undergraduates and international students.
The expanded numbers is being met with an expansion and upgrade in student housing. This summer, the old Franklin Hall was demolished to make room for two new residence halls. There will also be a new dining facility and a new school of nursing building. Renovations of the Curris Center are also planned this year.
