While the main attractions don't start until Tuesday, the Murray-Calloway County Fair officially starts this weekend.
The fair opens Friday and Saturday with 4-H livestock shows beginning at 8 a.m. each day and ending at 6 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on Saturday. Exhibits for the 4-H and family and consumer sciences competitions will be dropped off on Monday and judged the following day.
The midway opens Tuesday at 6 p.m., and in the grandstands it's the mini outlaw tractor pull at 7 p.m.
Wednesday is slated as family night with $2 off admission with a donation of two can goods for Murray-Calloway County Needline. Thursday will feature motorcycle practice at 6 p.m. as they prepare for the enduro race on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Saturday is the fan-favorite demolition derby set for 7:30 p.m.
Admission each day is $12, except for Wednesday's family night, which is $10 with the donation of two canned goods.
