A motorcycle versus deer crash in Caldwell County on Monday night sent a Princeton man to an Evansville hospital.

The crash happened along KY 672 near Redden Dock Road. Caldwell County Sheriff's deputies said a motorcycle driven by 19-year-old Christopher E. Jones of Princeton collided with a deer that ran in front of him as he rode north on KY 672. Jones told deputies that he could not avoid the deer. He was wearing a helmet.

After being treated at the scene, Jones was flown by AirEvac to Deaconess Midtown in Evansville for further treatment.
