Alabama man arrested after road rage incident on I-24 in Livingston County

An Alabama man was arrested after a road rage incident on I-24 in Livingston County on Friday night.

Kentucky State Police received a call from a motorist on 1-24. They said a passenger in a pickup traveling in the same direction pointed a firearm at them.

The caller described the vehicle as a dark blue pickup with a motorcycle in the bed. They also described the license plate number.

Troopers located the vehicle on US 62 in Calvert City. A handgun was located in the truck during a traffic stop. 

The passenger was identified as 43-year-old Dusty D. Sharp of Boaz, Alabama.

Police said Sharp admitted to waving the handgun out of the truck's window after getting frustrated at the other motorist.

Sharp was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment and menacing.
