More light rain today: temps in the 70s linger during the week

Another lingering wave of widespread rain is expected today and tonight.

Showers and scattered thundershowers will produce about 3/4 inch of rainfall across our southern border counties and into Tennessee, tapering to a quarter inch or less across our northern reaches. 

Scattered showers will briefly return for Thursday into Friday morning.

Clouds will keep temperatures below normal until some 80s beginning to sneak back into the forecast by next weekend or early next week.
