West Paducah man arrested following motorcycle crash in Lyon County

A West Paducah man was arrested following a motorcycle crash last week in Lyon County.

Lyon County Sheriff's deputies were called to the crash on KY 810 near KY 1271 just before 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The deputy said that 20-year-old Frederick W. Britton of West Paducah lost control of his motorcycle trying to avoid a collision with a deer. Britton is said to have been under the influence of alcohol when he ran off the road and crashed the bike in the ditch.  

Britton was arrested and charged with DUI and no insurance. He was taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
