A Mississippi woman was arrested in McCracken County on felony endangerment charges over the weekend.

On Saturday a deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff Office responded for an armed subject at an address in Farley.

The deputy said once he arrived he learned that 42-year-old Ellen Nelson was dating Todd Mitchell and she found out he was seeing another woman. Nelson went to that woman’s home and allegedly pointed a loaded firearm at Mitchell when he showed up to get Nelson away from there. Nelson also reportedly pointed the firearm toward the other female.

The female who lived at the residence retreated inside her home where Nelson then pointed the firearm at the window the woman was looking out of.

Nelson was charged with menacing, disorderly conduct and wanton endangerment.
