Mississippi man arrested in stolen car near Murray

A Mississippi man was arrested on Thursday driving a car that had been reported stolen.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle at around 1 p.m. Thursday along US 641. A computer check showed the vehicle, driven by 38-year-old Corey J. Guidry of Sardis, Mississippi, had been reported stolen from the Magnolia state.

Guidry was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
