Milling, paving on Jefferson Street starts Thursday

On Thursday, crews will begin milling Jefferson Street in Paducah from 16th Street to 28th Street. Paving will begin Monday. 

Residents who live along this stretch of Jefferson Street are requested to avoid on-street parking while milling and paving operations are underway. 

Crews will work to maintain access to residents and businesses and provide one lane of traffic, but there will be brief times when flaggers may need to stop or detour traffic.
