Paducah man arrested on child sexual abuse charge

A Paducah man was arrested for sexual child abuse after the McCracken County Sheriff’s investigated the sexual abuse of a female victim under the age of 12.
 
Authorities learned the victim had been placed in the custody of family members earlier in the year. One family member was identified as 61-year-old James Greg Stevens of West Paducah.
 
Stevens allegedly confessed that he sexually molested the victim on multiple occasions.

Stevens was taken into custody Tuesday and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
