McCracken County Sheriff seeking information about injured dog

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about an injured pitbull.

The Sheriff's Office said McCracken County animal control was contacted by a railroad worker regarding a severely injured Pitbull on the railroad tracks near Division Street, underneath the John Puryear overpass. The dog was taken to a local veterinary, treated, and is currently in the care of a foster family.

If anyone has any information regarding this dog or was possibly a witness to someone on the John Puryear overpass with this dog between November 2 and November 4, you are asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office at 270-444-4719 or their local law enforcement agency.
