Mayfield police locate 10- and 15-year-olds missing since Monday

Two Mayfield juveniles missing since Monday were located and reunited with their families by Mayfield police on Tuesday.

Police said they followed many leads to find 10-year-old Zion McClendon, who went missing after separating from a group he was with for trick-or-treating, and 15-year-old Ariel Holmes, who was last seen Halloween afternoon.

No other official details were released, but police thanked the public for their assistance.

Mayfield Police are searching for a 10-year boy who went missing after trick-or-treating.

Police said Zion McClendon left with a group to go trick-or-treating around 6 pm. His group was walking in the Arbors and he separated from the group. He was last seen walking towards the back of Arbors at approximately 7 pm. 

He was wearing a black t-shirt that says “I’d rather be gaming” with gaming written multiple times in multiple colors. He was also wearing black shorts with white sandals. He had his face painted white with some red to simulate blood. 

McClendon has asthma and does not have his inhaler or medicine with him.
