A Mayfield man will face drug trafficking charges in Paducah after his arrest on Friday.
Drug detectives said they received a tip that 33-year-old Rodney B. Gray was bringing Fentanyl into Paducah to sell.
Undercover detectives were reportedly able to purchase capsules from Gray that contained the drug.
Authorities said they were able to confirm Gray had been traveling out of state to pick up the drugs before selling them in western Kentucky.
Gray was arrested after a traffic stop Friday morning on Lone Oak Road. A search of his vehicle is said to have contained 100 capsules, with a street value of about $1,000.
He was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and importing controlled substances.
