Lyon County canceled its burn ban on Wednesday, leaving only a few western Kentucky counties still banning outdoor burning.
Livingston, Caldwell and Carlisle counties also joined Graves County, Marshall County and the City of Benton in lifting their burn bans earlier this week.
In southern Illinois, Massac County and Johnson County announced the end of their burn bans last Sunday and Monday.
Kentucky's Energy and Environment Cabinet lists just three western Kentucky counties as still having burn bans in effect: Crittenden, Fulton, and Hickman.
All of Kentucky still has a statewide outdoor burning restriction until December 15. Burning within 150 feet of any woodland or bushland area is allowed only in the evening hours between 6 pm and 6 am.
The entire region is still experiencing extreme drought conditions, so officials urge care in burning around still dry vegetation and crops.
